A tropical origin

Terminalia Chebula, the latin name for Haritaki, is a botanical species widely distributed in tropical zones and over a large part of India, from Cambodia to southern China. Its fruits are harvested when they begin to turn yellow, and each tree can produce up to 10 kg of fruit per year.
As part of our CSR approach, we guarantee that the Haritaki used in our formulations is cultivated in its natural environment, using an environmentally-friendly method.

Chebula extract: multiple benefits

The fruit of the tree of longevity, or Chebula extract, is highly valued in Ayurvedic medicine. Veritable "king of medicines", it has been used for thousands of years for its many benefits for the heart, liver and digestive system.

The medicinal properties of Haritaki have been the subject of numerous scientific publications. Fruit extracts have shown significant inhibitory activity on oxidative stress and cell aging; in other words, Chebula extract helps to fight the signs of aging through antioxidant action.[break]

Naturally present in young and healthy skin, hyaluronic acid is produced in smaller quantities and degraded by enzymes with age. Chebula extract will protect the hyaluronic acid against this natural degradation, prolonging its life in the skin.
