    How to properly apply your lipid-replenishing emollient treatment?

    • Once or twice a day, with clean hands, or more often if your skin is itchy.
    • After each shower, to restore the skin's protective hydrolipidic film and prevent itching. The product is best applied to slightly damp skin.
    • Use both hands for even distribution. Spread the product on your hands, then gently massage it into the skin using slow, enveloping movements.
    • Use a thin layer. Too thick a layer can lead to irritation and tingling.

      It's for these properties that we have included Milk Thistle oil in our XERACALM NUTRITION range, designed for dry to very dry skin. 
      We also chose it for its limited environmental impact. In addition to being a plant of French origin, it requires little water to grow. Finally, our Milk Thistle oil comes from an "upcycling" process to limit waste: residues from the extraction of ComedoclastinTM (the active ingredient used for the Comedomed range) are then recycled to produce our Milk Thistle oil.

          The XERACALM A.D Lipid-replenishing balm and Lipid-replenishing cream are used daily to limit and prevent skin dryness and itching*. In addition, Soothing concentrate can be applied locally for immediate relief of intense itching*. This is the best SOS product to keep on you! Balm or cream, adapt the texture to your skin type or the season: Balm if your skin is very dry, Cream when it is less dry.

          Soothe and relieve your skin quickly with a compress of Avène Thermal Spring Water: spray the water onto tissues and leave them on your face for 10 minutes. In case of itching*, apply XERACALM A.D Soothing concentrate regularly, including to the eyelids if necessary. In case of irritation, use a protective repairing cream, 1 to 2 times a day. And for prevention, always moisturize and protect your skin with lipid-replenishing cream or balm, at least 1 time a day.

          There are simple but essential daily gestures you can take to limit skin dryness and restore the skin's barrier function (and thus space out flare-ups). Here are our tips: Opt for gentle hygiene with a cleansing oil and warm water between 32-34 ° C, a shower or bath not exceeding 10 minutes. Moisturize and protect your skin with a lipid-replenishing cream or balm at least once a day, even when the skin condition seems satisfactory.
